Video Switch Assembly Model VSA-103The Video Switcher Assembly is designed for use in a light armored vehicle. Its mission is to switch various video images between monitors operated by the troops. Each monitor shall accept multiple video sources, selectable by the troops. This includes: two channels for the remote weapon station day and night sights, plus two spare channels for future Driver Vision Enhancement DVE, and two spare channels for future feeds, for a total of six channels. The monitor shall be capable of displaying RS-170A images from the sources identified above. The six output channels accept composite NTSC or PAL video from up to six sources. Each of the six multiplexers can select any of six independent video sources.
